With over 15 years experience managing complex projects in the mineral exploration and resource extraction industries, Michael has developed a broad and engaging set of skills, enabling him to provide effective management and operational leadership to a breadth of projects types.
His work has taken him from southern Africa to northern Canada, where he now oversees some of the most remote photovoltaic (PV) solar installations in the world. His work experience has made him adept at managing project logistics in remote settings and environments. With his help, Solvest has become the largest PV solar installer North of 60⁰, with over 180 installations to date and 3.2 Megawatts of solar installed throughout B.C, NWT, Manitoba, and the Yukon.
Originally from Edmonton, Michael completed his BSc and MSc in Earth and Atmospheric Sciences – Specialization Geology at the University of Alberta. He now proudly calls the Yukon his home.
