Rich is well known in the Canadian advertising community, private company investment circles and in the northern Canadian real estate arena where he has led NVD LP, one of the largest real estate players in the Yukon. He holds a B.SC from the University of Toronto (Mathematics and Statistics) and an MBA in Finance from York University where he graduated with distinction.

He is less well known in the Yukon for being CEO of Pureform Diagnostics Imaging Clinics in Alberta. In 2008 he launched Pureform - a company focused on the development of state of the art diagnostic imaging clinics in Alberta.  The company  operates four clinics in Calgary, recently sold its clinic in Edmonton, and operates an affiliate clinic in Red Deer, Alberta. It also runs a mobile X-Ray service for Calgary seniors. The company is seeking to expand its footprint with remote reading locations in areas outside of the large urban centers in Alberta.

A serial entrepreneur with his fingers in many pies, Rich is also very active on community and industry boards. He has served as a director for the Institute of Canadian Advertising, the Glenbow Museum, the Alberta Ballet and the Calgary Urban Project Society. For three years he served as Canada’s representative on the International Board of the Young Presidents’ Organization ultimately fulfilling the role as the international organization’s Vice-Chair in 2008/9. Rich is owner, director, president or chairman of several venture and merchant banking companies located in Calgary, Alberta and has served on many public and private company boards.

In Yukon he has served as Chair or the Senior Marketing Council for the Tourism Industry Association of the Yukon, and for several years he was Chairman of the Yukon Chamber of Commerce. He currently co-chairs the Yukon Tourism Steering Committee which is charged with developing a long-term strategy for the development of the Yukon Tourism industry.
